Api is an explorative and vibrant soul whose musical abilities reunite together to create expressive, eclectic and soulful music. Her fascination for world-music, mysticism, human evolution and nature continue influencing her offerings and compositions.

Api’s mum found Api at the age of 4 playing spontaneously the melody of Heidi together with the TV. That’s where her training started, receiving full classical training as a pianist. Her endless curiosity for world-music took her into a journey of exploring, traveling and training in many genres such as Spanish folk, jazz harmonies, West African rhythms, South African inspirations, Middle Eastern melodies, Hindustani raags, shamanic vibrations and meditative modes. She has been involved in several fusion projects which have provided her the opportunity to play with several world musicians and perform internationally.

Api’s signature is the strength of an incredible versatile raw voice that seems to travel through time and space with an intimate balance between the earthy feminine and the universal masculine forces. This, accompanied by the several world-instruments that she plays with delicacy, Api’s musical exploration melts with her high sensitivity and her genuine improvisation skills. Her voice is a channel of the divine and her music is an invitation to self-enquiry and journeying into the unknown.

Api is a Holistic Voice Therapist certified by the BAST (British Academy of Sound Therapy) and as well as musical offering and voice activation sessions, Api holds space to treat and heal those who believe in the power of sound and voice, as an alternative way to address those challenges that impede your flow in life. She offers regular 1:1 and group sessions to dive into the self.

Api is utterly motivated to help those who have an internal call to use their voice and grow in their musical skills. Api offers regular workshops called “Music Under One Moon” which bring the community together around the healing power of music, sound and voice.

Api’s musicality is strongly influenced by her background as therapist and healer. With over 2 decades of experience as Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Api has worked with hundreds of families that have gone through very difficult situations, trauma, abuse, disease, etc… She is a highly specialised in working with children with neurological conditions and other conditions such as Autisms, ADHD and extreme prematurity.

As well, Api continues her journey as space holder, training as Plant Medicine Integration Therapist and being involved regularly in circles that provide deep opportunities for healing and growth, in deep alignment with the purpose of contributing to the evolution of a conscious humanity.
